Welcome to Newport Beach

Newport Beach was a great place before I arrive, it was a great place when I was living there, and it will be a great place long after I am gone. 

But it was the single best place in the world to grow up. The stories that I could share would last for hours. 

Old Newport Beach

Long before the big homes came, the homes were mostly post World War 2 cottages. They had a damp odor, they smelled like lead paint, and they were mostly used during summer. 

Crime was non-existent, the beaches were wide open, and mom could kick us out of the house at 9am and we wouldn't come back until the street lights went on. 

Everything that you could want was within biking distance

As kid, you had the beach, you the bay, you had the sand, you had the Ferry, you had the Fun Zone, you had everything you could ever want within a quick pedal.

Hours well spent

Take a few moments and talk to someone who has lived in Newport Beach and they all say the same thing, "I remember when ...".

Newport Beach just keeps getting better

While Newport Beach just keeps getting better, there was period in which Newport was a surfers paradise, a premier tourist destination, and a place to see and been seen but mostly by those in Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops.
